Who Are We
BIG is a group of Israeli and American Jewish young adults from the Boston area who care about Israel - BIG time. 
Our organization was founded on Rosh Hashana 2010 by Israeli and American Jewish young adults who were aiming to connect their constituencies. In particular, they were looking to pay attention to the Israeli young professional group and create a community with their Jewish American cohort in order to strengthen their Jewish Identity and support the state of Israel. 

In BIG, we believe in Klal Yisrael (whole of Israel) and as an open tent, we welcome and accept Jews from any background to a shared community. BIG is not affiliated with any political or Jewish stream. Stay Updated - Join our mailing list 

Our Mission
BIG’s mission is to connect Jewish Israeli and American young adults and to facilitate an awareness of Israel in the greater Boston area.
We endeavor to create a diverse  Jewish community and to support Israel.

Tzevet (leading team)
BIG is a volunteer run organization, overseen by its leading team aka as the "tzevet". Tzevet is a Hebrew word (crew/team/staff), reflects the Israeli part of our mission and distinguishes it from traditional boards or steering committees. 
BIG's tzevet consists of Israeli and Americans and is an executive and decision making entity, where the lay leaders have the opportunity to plan, organize and bring into action different programs that fit their passion and fulfill BIG's mission.
